This breakfast is outside the mainstream cereal bowl. Of course, oatmeal with fruit is a very popular breakfast in the plant-based world and really all over the world. Aside from it being healthy and satiating, I think people love it so much because of how fast and easy it is to make, and how delicious it is.

Savory Oatmeal with Veggies can be just as easy and delicious! I’ve actually grown to love the veggie addition even more than the fruit.

When I’m not starting the day with sweetness, even if it’s a whole food source, I notice less desire for sweets later in the day.

Plus, starting the day with veggies reminds me of how much I respect my body and my health. It’s very empowering to make better choices throughout the day, even outside of the food realm.
